dilemma

I am in serious dilemma, I have always been so easily losing faith in it. Wonder why is it that i can put so much faith in other things but just not in this. If only, there is such a thing as a mirror of future, then I wont be put in such dilemma, I have pass the houses so many times, wonder when should be the right time to finally settle in the right house. Why do people after living in the house for 5, 10. 20 years decide to leave the house. I begin to fear I would do that or someone else in the house would do that. Yes, I think I should just trust in the Lord to help me make the right decision. I am so puzzled at myself sometimes, why cant i be more decisive and make right decision. I just want to escape for the moment, waiting for the right sign to make the right decision. God please help me. I cant do this alone.

Hooked!

Last Saturday, I went to have dinner with RR at The Railway mall. I am staying in North-East, so for me anywhere in the West is always a new ground for me to explore. I have read about this place, but didn't have the chance to go there. Hehe, so he brought me there to have our dinner after service.

Its a great place to chill out at night, a stretch of eateries for you to choose from. Good thing we drove, as I felt that it was quite inaccessible without driving. Opposite the eateries, you can actually see the railway tracks. I have read about the place called Hooked!, its outlet at Upper Thomson closed down, thus I think here is the only branch, Not sure if its because we were there late, not convenient or because people rather go somewhere with the LCD screen to watch football. But we had the restaurant all to ourselves. haha. We have practically "booked" the whole place! The food was excellent, but I felt the cost slightly steep. The place serves anything that is fishy as the name suggests.

Delicious Tom Yam Seafood Soup
The soup is not very spicy and serving is good enough but you must add side dishes with extra cost for the rice. But the Tom Yum was really quite yummy.

Pan Seared Snapper

The mustard wild mushroom sauce is really awesome! I love the mushroom too, soft and delicious. And not forgetting brocolli that is good for the skin. ;) You can choose Snapper or Garoupa . I added with Spicy Linguine, and it was well cooked. Not too hard or soft. Just nice to my liking. plus the spiciness adds the flavour.

Hooked! By Punch
Well, this is a ladies' drink. The taste is delicate and cooling, with longans & cherries to add little pleasure to the drink. I love it!

Waffles with Ice Cream
Lastly, dessert to complete the meal.

A splendid meal! Happy and full!

The A-Team

This week, I had a really stressful week and guess it would get worse. I was really touched that RR made great efforts to make my weekend better. And indeed it was. When I was really stressed on friday, and had to stay back alone to finish some stuff, I was really happy that he came down all the way to meet me after my work. Though we had a slight tiff, but all was well.

We watched The A-Team! It was really an awesome show! Apparently, it was a show that was a popular TV Series in 1983-1987, that was like when I was still baby la! Its like what we have now Sex and the City, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, 90210, and recently Glee!.

Well, the team is made up of 4 leads.
Hannibal Smith played by Liam Neeson
Faceman played by Bradley Cooper, to whom I think he is hot but has an unfaithful face, haha probably  because of his character in "He's just not into you".
B.A which means "Bad Attitude" played by Quinton Jackson
H.M which means "Howling Mad" played by Sharlto Copley

They are the elite team in the US Army and was tricked into particpating a case that requires them to retrieve money plates that has been used to print fake money. As they were set up, they were imprisoned and stripped of their ranks. They had to find a way to clear their names.

Wow! If you want Action, Adventures, Dudes, Babes, Lots of Laughter, and lots of twist and turns in storyline,  you've got to watch it! I think the whole theatre was laughing so loudly, despite us watching a late night movie. I had a great laugh, and suddenly all the stress and problems disappeared! thanks baby!

Bring it everywhere!

I recently went on a shopping spree and saw this new "gadget". Have you ever had a problem of having to bring your big bulky perfume in your bag. Or you had to compromise to buy other smaller perfume bottles that is not really your favourite scent? No fret, I saw this at Sasa.

Now you can store your favourite perfume in this small bottle and its so small that it fits well in your handbag. Its so much more worth it to buy this than those small concentrated bottles you find in perfume stores which cost like $1.50 or $2.00 each. and you cant replace it.
Cost         : only $4.50
How to     : there is a tool in packaging to help you transfer the perfume from original bottle to the spray
Where      : Any Sasa outlet

See how much space and weight you can save in your bag!

Sick!!!

This week couldn't have been worse. I had been ill for the past 1 week. Wonder if all my soldiers are skiving, can't even fend off simple enemies from the armies of Flu , Sore throat and Cough? I spend like $56 dollars to send in more troops. They are still attacking me like crazy? Even after seeing a second doctor who has given stronger medicine, I am still coughing. The Flu squad likes to spring attacks when I am not noticing, comes in sneakily. While the Sore Throat Squad comes in when i sleep, making me wake in the middle of the night. Soldiers, wake up!!!! Start fighting for goodness sake! Its the 7th day now. I am still sick. And because i ate drowsy medicine, I had a hard time waking up, and had to take cab to work, and spent $100 over in just a week. Hope I can get well soon...

Anyway, currently, I am faced with a dilemma, I am not sure what to do as I have no idea what the future holds. Feel that all my dreams are becoming harder and harder to achieve. Maybe thats the facts of life. Its frustrating, and how I wish I can have an answer.

Young Doctors

There is one thing I do not like when I am in a clinic. Coughing badly, feeling feverish and cold with the aircon blasting at you and other patients looking as sickly can be, all these didn't bother me! It is in fact when I enter into the room to see the doctor who, by sterotypically suppose to end all my problems turned out to be a young chap with spectacles staring innocently at you, with a caption above his head that has the word screaming "Inexperienced!" I met this doctor before. A young man always eager to meet his next patient, trying damn hard to make me feel comfortable by asking me what I am currently working as. Ello! I already said I had sore throat. I showed that I was least interested to reply his questions. okay, maybe he was just trying to strike a conversation since no one has been talking to him since he started his shift. I had a really bad impression of him. It all happen when we first met......

I went to see a doctor to ask for pills to prevent having my auntie visiting as I was to go Phuket in a few days time, and was about time to have my "ahem", and he told me to take the pills for 2 times a day. I was like, what? okay fine and that there is side effects to taking this pills. Fair enough. when I was at the reception, the nurse passed my medicine, and i saw to take 3 times a day? I asked the lady, "hi, i would like to ask, the doctor told me not to take more than twice, but now its stated 3times a day?" so she clarified with the doctor over the small hole that allows doctors and the receptionist nurse to converse. And he said, listen to this. "Oh, its okay take 3 times a day better, stronger, can confirm stop." What the heck! And the another nurse picked up the phone and answered in chinese, " oh today is the young doctor." pause (I guessed the person on line was asking when will the older doctor be available. "The older doctor is on night shift." Its evident that even other patients don't think much about young doctors in this clinic either.

I was totally "devastated" when i saw it was the same young doctor, and guess what he told me. I explained that i am having sore throat and feeling feverish, and told me," okay i will give medicine for the inflame and the medicine to the sore throat. After this, you will get flu and cough, I shall prescribe you medicine for that too." ELLO!!!! Are you God? no other doctors have ever told me I am going to get other illness. You are suppose to cure me of current illness! Young doctor!!! thats what you get. And slammed me with a $56 bill!

Well, don't get me wrong, I dont mind young doctors, as a beau, as a friend, as someone assisting the main doctor in the hospital, but NOT in a clinic, when i feel like dying under the spell of illness! Well, some might say, well we are young once... and there are always time for testing and guinea pigs. Just dont pick me!
